These are personalized classes where one student and a blacksmith collaborate in one-hour daily sessions, scheduled at your convenience. Starting with the basics of blacksmithing, students learn how to properly use essential tools like the hammer, anvil, tongs, and a coal-fired forge. As they advance, they delve into the finer details of metalworking.
Please contact us to set up the time and date before paying for your class!
Here at True Serendipity Homestead, we have decided to put the 50 plus years of life experience to good use by making available, our art and skills, by teaching others what we have learned. Michael offers workshops on blacksmithing and milling lumber using a small Wood Mizer bandsaw mill that is great for the beginning homesteader!
We also offer campsites around our private pond through a company called Hipcamp and also Airbnb.
