This is a fun project! Bring your own rock about the size of a large egg and Mike will help you forge out the metal work. In this class they will learn the basic skills of use of the hammer, the forge, bellows, tongs and many other basic movements to transform the metal and rock into a beautiful, functional door knocker.
Here at True Serendipity Homestead, we have decided to put the 50 plus years of life experience to good use by making available, our art and skills, by teaching others what we have learned. Michael offers workshops on blacksmithing and milling lumber using a small Wood Mizer bandsaw mill that is great for the beginning homesteader!
We also offer campsites around our private pond through a company called Hipcamp and also Airbnb.
